Today the Parliamentary Standards Commissioner has officially released his verdict on David Laws, MP for Yeovil, who stood down as Chief Secretary to the Treasury after it broke in the Daily Telegraph that he had being paying rent to his partner in order to hide his sexuality.
As a result of the findings Laws had to apologise to the House at 1pm this afternoon. His very dignified statement can be watched here.
